What a delightful moment! Keeping my New Year’s resolution to visit Mom more often and bring Ari, Shab’s 8-year-old daughter. With her dementia, Mom doesn’t say much, except to Ari who somehow always revitalizes Mom’s mind and spirit. Helping elders maintain mental acuity and feel wanted is so important!
